👉 We want to get everyone talking about how Africa is portrayed globally and within the continent. How does the world see us and how do we see ourselves? Are the persistent stereotypical narratives about us, all that we are? How do we shift the narrative? And what do we want the narrative to be? Our *Convening Grants* support conversations, dialogues and debates that try to address these questions. Grants are worth $5000 to $15,000. Deadline: 27 August. More info: https://africanofilter.org/convening-grants-for-organisations-in-africa

👉 *Operational Support Grants* are open to creative hubs, narrative change organisations, media houses, festivals, galleries and digital platforms that support individual storytellers. This can be through programme delivery, job creation, residences, networking opportunities, training and capacity building creatives, artists, journalists etc. Grants are worth $10, 000 - $25,000. Deadline: 27 August. More info: https://africanofilter.org/africa-no-filter-operational-support-grants
