END FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION

The Federal Ministry of Health and Federal Ministry of Women Affairs has Launched the Movement for Good to end Female Genital Mutilation in Nigeria (M4Good). 

The @M4Good2EndFGM is seeking to build a community-led movement to eliminate FGM in Nigeria, by mobilizing "Pledges" from 5 million Nigerians in the five focus states (Imo, Oyo, Ebonyi, Osun and Ekiti state) by 31st December 2022.

The pledges are expected to translate into individual and collective actions to end FGM at the household and community levels. To reach our target by December 2022, each state is expected to mobilize 200,000 individuals to pledge each month.
