COMMUNITY SERVICE

My Community Service was based on environmental sanitation and sustainability project to promote eco-friendly and clean environment in Lugbe Village, FCT-Abuja, Nigeria. The initiative is training the locals on the importance of eco-friendly environment.

My team embark on cleaning the pedestrian bridges, the local markets, distribution of nylon bags for waste collection and importantly engaging youth people to pick up plastics waste while supporting them with nosemasks and sanitary materials.

Plastic affect animal health, they inevitably affect human health as well and also the food we eat most likely contains some amount of plastic. The benefit of cleaning the environment of plastic waste to me and the society is that; by reducing plastic waste, it benefit wildlife, keep our ocean clean and slow climate change.

PROJECT COST

Estimation of N100,000.00 was spend on the community service, which was contributed by each of the participating team of four people.
