CHARACTER FORMATION

I’ve transitioned from being called “Pastor” to “Bishop,” though I’ve never held the formal role of pastor nor will I ever (though will wholeheartedly participate in spreading the Gospel worldwide). Now, many have shifted to addressing me as “Bishop.” Out of respect, some avoid using just my first name, opting instead for “Bishop Jonah.”

These titles were earned not through pulpit but through character. Your character shapes how others perceive you. Among countless labels people could choose, they gravitate to those that mirror your integrity. A few even call me “Professor,” further underscoring this principle.

Your lifestyle speaks volumes. The world observes, and people discern how you define yourself. Cultivate a trustworthy character that the public can both recognize and defend. Even if others attempt to tarnish your image, your integrity will shield you.

Through referrals rooted in reputation, I’ve appeared in the media and delivered public speeches. Character demonstrates capability. While not everyone may appreciate your virtues, let God and your positive attributes shine.

Your job or actions might call for different facets of character, but ensure they never harm others, lead anyone into sin, or misguide the public. Integrity is the compass that guides lasting influence.

Until the moment when will shall dance in white Greater Grace.
