Deadline Extended: 2025 UN #SDGAwards 

 

UN SDG Action Campaign

 

The UN SDG Action Campaign has extended the deadline for applications and (self-)nominations for the Heroes of Tomorrow: 2025 UN #SDGAwards. This year’s categories—Resilience, Creativity, and Changemaker Award—honour individuals, initiatives, and changemakers who demonstrate that every choice matters.

Youth4Climate Funding for Young Climate Leaders 

 

UN Development Programme (UNDP)

 

UNDP and Italy have launched the 2025 Youth4Climate Call for Solutions, offering funding, training, and support for youth-led climate projects worldwide. The initiative focuses on key themes such as sustainable energy, food and agriculture, climate and health, digital for the planet, climate peace and security, and nature.

AgX Fair 2025: Call Now Open 

 

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

 

The World Food Forum (WFF)’s Global Youth Action Initiative invites young changemakers and educators to submit innovative agrifood education projects. Selected entries will be showcased during the WFF flagship event and will receive expert feedback.

2025 PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival 

 

UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC)

 

UNAOC and International Organization for Migration (IOM) are seeking youth-produced short videos (up to 5 minutes) for the 2025 edition of the PLURAL+ Festival. The call is open to global youth aged 25 and under. Creators of the top short films on key themes—including migration and social inclusion—will be invited to a ceremony at the end of the year.

The UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is organizing a webinar series to explore the use of sport in youth crime prevention. The sessions will highlight best practices and support the integration of sport into relevant strategies and frameworks.

Youth Consultation on Ocean Sustainability 

 

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

The World Food Forum Youth Assembly will host its first youth consultation on ocean sustainability ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference. This virtual event is open to youth worldwide.

Register for Youth Blast 2025!

 

UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

 

Hybrid event: 1 June 2025, Geneva

Youth Blast 2025 is a full-day event dedicated to empowering young people ages 16–35. The program will feature speakers from the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), UNICEF, ActionAid, and other key organizations working in the humanitarian and resilience space. It will also include interactive sessions on building resilience in sustainability work, international relations, and career development in advocacy and humanitarian action.
