WHEN YOU DON'T FIT IN
Have you ever found yourself in situations where you don’t fit in? Oh yes, I have.
I recall a time when some people were preparing for an event. I was tasked with communicating all requirements for the program. A week before the event, I informed the hosts and conducted multiple follow ups to ensure nothing was overlooked. They repeatedly assured me they would comply. Yet, on the day of the event, I was shocked to discover they had ignored the requirements entirely.
Naturally upset, I reported the hosts to someone in authority, hoping they’d enforce accountability. When confronted, the hosts lied, claiming I had never informed them. The authority figure then berated me with an emotionally charged, moralistic lecture, insisting I must have lied. Their message was clear. “These hosts have financial status and credibility; you do not. Therefore, you must be the liar.”
The accusation cut deeply. It was demoralizing to realize that their financial influence overshadowed my truth.
Situations like these happen in life. When you find yourself in a place where you don’t fit where power dynamics silence your voice do not let others intimidate you. Walk away if you must.
Do not exhaust yourself trying to prove your worth to those who prioritize influence over integrity. Powerful individuals may twist the truth, risking your reputation or freedom if you resist. Instead, trust your own truth. Let time, nature, and karma restore balance.
Walk away from spaces that diminish you. Trust yourself, and let life’s currents deliver justice.
Until the moment when will shall dance in white Greater Grace.
