PROTECTING THE NIGERIA ELEPHANT

I extend my sincere appreciation to the people of I Iotombi Community in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, for protecting these priceless elephants.  

There are over 40 forest elephants in Andoni, and it is forbidden to hunt them. These elephants are among Earth’s most beautiful ancient animals still roaming the wild. Their habitat is threatened by human activities, and we are losing many to poaching.  

We must protect these magnificent creatures so that future generations will not have to read about them only in books but can have the privilege of seeing them.

Until the moment when will shall dance in white Greater Grace.
